Next December 6, 7 and 8 the Ibiza Town Hall has organized ‘Eivicadabra’, a magic festival for young and old. Different magicians, artists and hypnotists promise to capture the attention of all spectators who attend their performances, which will be in the Christmas tent of Vara de Rey for free and in the Can Ventosa Auditorium with ticket purchase. Carmen DomĆnguez, Councillor for Culture of the City Council of Eivissa, said that the reason for doing it in two locations is so that everyone can experience the magic and that this year’s poster “is really worth a lot. For his part, El mag Albert, promoter of this festival, commented that this year’s line-up will be very difficult to beat. “There will be magicians who are champions of several international competitions, you really can’t miss it,” he said, highlighting the realism of each performance.
- On Friday, December 6, at 5 pm, Borja MontĆ³n will perform “Ilusiona’t” in the tent of Vara de Rey. Then, at 8 pm, the “International Magic and Mystery Gala” will take place, an event recommended for children from 8 years old. Magicians and artists Bruno Tarnecci, Christian MirĆ³, Javier Luxor & Irene LovĆ©, AdriĆ”n CarratalĆ” & Katerina and LuĆas Olmedo will bring the most international magic to Ibiza. The advance sale price is 15 euros and at the box office the day of the event, 18 euros.
- On Saturday, December 7, two performances will be held in Vara de Rey. The first, at 12.00 where Christian MirĆ³ will do “Humor is written with magic” and at 17.00 Sebastian Dethise will present the “Sebas magic comedy”. In the afternoon, in Can Ventosa there will be two shows. The first will be at 18.00 and 19.00 at the hands of Luis Olmedo, current world champion of micromagic, with the show “Perspectiva”, a performance recommended for children from 12 years where Olmedo, will show a delicate, elegant and poetic magic in the Sala PequeƱa of Can Ventosa. The second will be at 8 pm where hypnotist Jeff Toussaint will show the audience the incomparable power of the human mind. In this case, the show is recommended for children from 10 years old. Both performances are priced at 15 euros in advance or 18 euros at the box office on the day of the event.
- Finally, on Sunday, December 8, SarapĆn will show “Zas-cata-plas” at 12 o’clock in the Paseo de Varea de Rey and in the afternoon Mag Edgar will do two acts of “DĆ©jĆ Vu”, one at 17 and the other at 20, a show where present and past intertwine. In this case the recommendation is from 4 years old and the advance ticket price is 20 euros or 23 euros at the box office on the day of the event.
