The PSOE spokesman in Sant Antoni, Antonio Lorenzo, has had a controversial statement about the aggression to the businessman Wayne Lineker, who has suffered a brutal blow at the exit of a discotheque.
For Lorenzo, Lineker is practically responsible for the aggression he suffered. As he wrote in his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter), “Lineker has been a victim of his offer of excesses and drunkenness and that the PP allows“.
I am sorry for the aggression, and any other, to Wayne Lineker in Sant Antoni. This is not solved with more security, it is solved with a change in the tourism model, which is currently non-existent. In any case, he said he regrets “the aggression, and any other, against Wayne Lineker in Sant Antoni. This is not solved with more security, it is solved with a change in the tourism model, which is currently non-existent”.
The aggression occurred at the exit of a discotheque in the passeig de la Badia de Portmany, when a young man punched him in the face, knocking him down and leaving him unconscious for a few minutes.
Through his social networks, Lineker, owner of O Beach and brother of former British player Gary Lineker, has brought reassurance about his health: “I wanted to write this post to let everyone know that I’m fine. I have some stitches and a swollen lip. It could have been a lot worse, so I consider myself very fortunate that I wasn’t two yards further back, as my head would have hit the wall.”
