15 people arrive to the south of Formentera in a skiff

Salvamento Marítimo and the provincial Maritime Service have rescued these people who are the third boat to arrive at the island in the last hours

At 08:20 on Thursday, July 4, Maritime Rescue and the provincial Maritime Service rescued 15 people of North African origin, in apparent good health, about 13 miles south of Formentera. This is the third such rescue on the island in less than 24 hours.

Last Tuesday, at night time, 14 people of North African and sub-Saharan origin arrived at Migjorn beach, in Formentera. Hours later, another 10 people have been sighted on the road des Ca Marí, procedures in which the Guardia Civil and the Local Police intervened.
