The Valencia DANA has become the worst natural disaster in the history of Spain and, so far, has claimed the lives of 95 people. For this reason, the different communities are organizing their aid. Ibiza has been no exception. One of the first to organize solidarity has been the Valencian Community Cultural Association of Sant Antoni, which has requested blankets, comforters, bedding, sleeping bags, warm clothes, sportswear and towels. Everything donated will be delivered from tomorrow November 1 at the Local Police of Sant Antoni, located in Alicante Street, 33. The campaign will be active until November 15. The association requests that “all the material is wrapped in cling film and with its number or size corresponding and visible, especially that it is in good condition.” On the island of Formentera, meanwhile, theValencian Falla Association has mobilized, enabling a collection point in the parish hall of Sant Ferran from Monday. They estimate that everything donated will be sent next week, given the limited frequency of shipments from the island.
