At noon this Sunday, the Peña Deportiva Peña Deportiva lost in their visit to Lleida by 3 to 0, in the framework of the 11th date of the Second RFEF. The Ibizan team knew that they were facing a tough opponent, who is the top favorite for promotion and that they were playing in their stadium. Despite this, Peña Deportiva’s plans were to get a good result, but nothing went as expected. From the first minutes of the first half, Lleida was much more active in all senses, dominating the ball and making the rival defense uncomfortable. It didn’t take long for the home team to open the scoreboard, as after eight minutes, José Solbes was able to score the first goal. Peña Deportiva showed no reaction to this result and in the 22nd minute Lleida scored 2-0 through Pérez and Naranjo made it 3-0 in the 37th minute. From that moment until the end, beyond some isolated play by the Ibizan team, it was all the locals, who ended up taking the game.

With this defeat, the Ibizan team drops to eighth place in the standings and will be hosting UE Cornellà on the next matchday.
