The Guardia Civil has arrested a 25 year old man for stealing over the weekend in a bar in the town of Santa Eulària. The young man had frightened the customers days before with a knife, shouting that he was going to change the world and that he was “the chosen one”. As reported by the Armed Forces, last weekend the Operational Services Center (COA) received a warning about a possible robbery in a hotel establishment in the town. Through the security cameras it was possible to verify that there was an individual inside who appeared to be carrying a large knife. The thief forced the tobacco machine and the cash register, but was unsuccessful. Upon arrival at the scene, the officers found the alleged perpetrator 50 meters from the establishment and were able to identify him by his clothing. The agents have arrested him for an alleged crime of robbery with force and he has been taken to court.
