The Balearic-based mobility company OK Mobility, with a wide presence and a notable market share in Ibiza, continues its international expansion in Africa by opening four new stores (OK Stores) in Tunisia, Senegal and Gambia, thus strengthening its presence on the continent after its recent entry into Morocco in May 2023. These openings are part of the company’s successful franchise model, which excels in leveraging the local market knowledge of its franchise partners, the company said in a statement. In Tunisia, OK Mobility will open a store at Tunis-Carthage International Airport, which in 2023 recorded traffic of nearly nine million passengers. This airport is key in the North African region, benefiting from the tourism growth the country has experienced in recent years. Dakar, the capital of Senegal, will have two new OK Stores: one in the city center, aimed primarily at the business sector, and the other at Blaise Diagne International Airport, which in 2023 welcomed more than two million passengers. Both strategic locations aim to attract both tourists and corporate clients.
In The Gambia, the company will open a store at Banjul International Airport in the capital, becoming the only mobility brand in this infrastructure. This new opening responds to OK Mobility ‘s strategy of operating in key points of the tourism and transport sector. With these new stores, OK Mobility consolidates its presence in 20 countries spread over four continents, reaffirming its commitment to leadership in the mobility sector and its vision of growth in the international market.
