Agents of the UDEV of the National Police arrested last Friday, November 8, an individual of Italian origin, 48 years old, as the alleged perpetrator of a robbery with force occurred in a well-known restaurant in a busy entertainment area of the center of Vila. The suspect, arrested in Manuel de Falla street at 12:00 noon, is accused of stealing objects and cash for a total value of 30,000 euros. The incident, which took place in the early hours of August 16, was reported by those responsible for the premises, who said that the perpetrator would have accessed the restaurant after forcing one of the doors. Once inside, he took valuables and a significant amount of cash.
Identification and arrest operation
After receiving the complaint, the National Police initiated an investigation process that involved both UDEV agents and the Scientific Police team, who worked together to identify and locate the perpetrator. The operation bore fruit last Friday, when the man was intercepted in the center of Ibiza and taken to the police station. The detainee, who has a police record for other crimes of various kinds, was brought before the court after the completion of the relevant police proceedings, and is now in the hands of justice to answer for the charges against him.
