The City Council of Ibiza has called for a minute of silence on the occasion of November 25, International Day against Violence against Women.
As explained by the Consistory in a statement, the minute of silence was intended to remember the women killed in crimes of male violence.
The municipal Corporation has condemned male violence, in an act convened in all municipal offices.
The mayor of Ibiza, Rafa Triguero, explained that the City Council continues to work to combat this scourge and prevent such crimes.
