The president of the Govern, Marga Prohens, pointed out that every woman victim of gender violence is a “collective failure“, as it represents a woman on whom the administrations“have not acted in time” and“have not been able to help“. This is what the representative of the Executive said in her speech at the central act of the Government for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is commemorated this Monday, November 25, and which has been developed in the Estudi General Lul-lià. Prohens stressed that the 25N is a day that is commemorated with“sadness“, because it is the day in which the victims of male violence are remembered, but stressed that it is also done from the “claim” and “not to fall into indifference”.
