A total of 93 immigrants have been rescued this Wednesday in Balearic waters, in a day that has registered several arrivals of small boats to the coasts of the archipelago. The most recent incident occurred at 15:20 hours, when Salvamento MarĆtimo intercepted a boat with 21 people of North African origin near Formentera. According to the Government Delegation, all those rescued were in apparent good health. The day began at 1:20 am with the first rescue in the area, where 20 people of sub-Saharan origin were located in similar conditions. Later, at 9:00 a.m., a second skiff was intercepted in Cala Pi with 25 Maghrebi occupants, while another boat with 27 sub-Saharan immigrants was found at 9:20 a.m. in the port of Cabrera.
