The State Agency of Meteorology(Aemet) foresees a change of weather this week in the Balearic Islands, associated with the arrival, from Tuesday, of a front, which will bring showers, possibility of some isolated storm, and a slight drop in temperatures. This was reported Monday, in statements to Europa Press, the delegate of the Aemet in the Balearic Islands, Maria Jose Guerrero, who has detailed that from Tuesday, December 3, is expected to reach a front to the Islands, which could leave scattered and occasional showers. In addition, a low probability of some storm is expected. As for the temperatures forecast for the same day on December 3, it is estimated that the maximum temperatures may drop slightly. Specifically, if this Monday they may be between 18ºC and 21ºC, this Tuesday they may fall to between 17ºC and 20ºC. Looking ahead to Wednesday, December 4, instability is expected to continue in the archipelago, expecting again occasional showers, more likely in Menorca and north of Mallorca. The mercury could drop to 14ºC and 17ºC, being foreseeably the coldest day of the first half of the week. And, it is pointed to the entry of north wind, with gusts of up to 70 km/h. From Thursday, December 5, however, temperatures will gradually rise again to such an extent that, by Friday, December 6, maximum temperatures could reach 22ºC again. These changes are within the usual for this time of the year, according to the delegate of the Aemet in the Balearic Islands, who has concluded that the most significant ones are expected to arrive from Sunday, December 8, with a plummeting of the thermometers.
