The city of Ibiza is preparing to host this Sunday December 15 the traditional Cursa S’Indiot, a sporting event that will affect mobility in various areas of the municipality.
From 9:15 to 11:15, circulation will be restricted in streets such as Campanitx, Venda des Coloms, Aubarca, Es Cubells and Xarraca. Access to Sant Josep de sa Talaia Avenue and Avinguda de la Pau will also be cut in key sections, which could generate traffic jams. In some areas, as in the specific sections of Campanitx and Venda des Coloms, restrictions will last until 12:30, impacting residents and visitors.
Parking prohibitions
In addition to traffic cuts, from Saturday, December 14 at 16:00 hours it will be forbidden to park in several strategic points, including margins of main streets such as Campanitx, Aubarca and Venda des Coloms. These limitations will remain active until well into the day on Sunday, depending on the area.
The Ibiza Town Hall has reminded of the importance of respecting these measures to ensure the safety and smooth running of the race.
Recommendations for citizens
In view of the planned restrictions, drivers are advised to opt for alternative routes and to plan in advance any travel to avoid inconveniences. The event organizers have stressed that these measures are essential to ensure the success of a sporting event that attracts numerous participants and spectators every year.
