This plan will be fundamental to adapt the municipality to current demands and plan its future growth.

The City Council has also approved a new reduction of the Real Estate Tax (IBI), which will go from 0.70 to 0.68, thus reinforcing its commitment to reducing the tax burden for residents.

Security will be another of the key axes of the budget, with the creation of ten new Local Police positions, which will be added to the current staff to strengthen surveillance and citizen protection. As for waste management, a 35% increase in collection and landfill fees has been definitively approved, complying with state regulations that require the real costs of this service to be passed on to citizens before April 2025. This measure seeks to promote a more efficient and sustainable circular economy.
