The leader of the autonomous Executive has chosen Ibiza to record her end of year speech on the 25th anniversary of the declaration of the island as a World Heritage Site. Claims to the central government
On the other hand, the president has devoted part of his speech to the migration crisis and reiterated the request to the central government that “do not look the other way”, recalling that the archipelago can not continue to receive in conditions of dignity. At the same time, the president has insisted that she will continue to defend the interests of the Balearic Islands before the government of Pedro Sánchez and ensure fiscal autonomy to lower taxes. She has also warned that she will demand a fair financing that takes into account the reality of the islands. Achievements
Prohens emphasized that the foundations have already been laid “for a change of course” in different areas. In this regard, he stressed that there are already 1,000 young people who have benefited from the elimination of the transfer tax.
