IB3, the public television of the Balearic Islands, ends 2024 with an annual average share of 5.2%, its best record since 2015 and two tenths more than the previous year. This growth consolidates IB3 as the autonomous channel in Spain that has increased its audience the most, especially among the young audience between 13 and 24 years old, where an increase of 90 % is registered, as detailed by the channel.
Among this year’s milestones was the special Volem la Copa, which allowed IB3 to become for the first time the most watched regional channel in Spain, with an all-time high of 11.5% audience share. In addition, new programs such as the morning news program, the Ara Anam magazine, and weekly news summaries were incorporated, which have reinforced the news offer.
IB3 Radio also breaks records
The public radio station reached 29,000 daily listeners, an increase of 30% over the previous wave, consolidating its position as the most listened to radio station in the Balearic Islands and reducing the gap with the main national stations.
IB3’s social networks are experiencing an unprecedented boom
On Instagram, followers have increased by 549 %, with interactions soaring by 1,393 %. It also launched profiles on TikTok and new accounts for IB3 Noticias and IB3 Radio, expanding its digital reach. IB3 emphasizes that these figures are the result of the integration between television, radio and digital platforms, along with the commitment to offer innovative and attractive content for all ages.
