The CID, a key element in forensic management
The CID is a technical body composed of a Forensic Office and an Office of the State Security Forces and Corps, which includes specialized agents from the Civil Guard and the National Police. According to Royal Decree 32/2009, it is the only body authorized to provide official figures and manage identification in cases of events with multiple victims. In addition, the CID coordinates identification reports carried out by various institutions and centralizes information through the Communication Office of the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community.
