The most magical night of the year is about to arrive in Ibiza and Formentera. The Three Wise MenMelchior, Gaspar and Balthazar, are preparing to distribute illusion, gifts and thousands of kilos of candy in their traditional parades. This Sunday, January 5 and Monday, January 6, the streets of the municipalities of both islands will be the scene of parades full of joy, tradition and unforgettable moments.
In Ibiza: the magic travels through all the municipalities
In Ibiza Town, the Kings will disembark at 18:00 hours in the area of the boats of Formentera. Accompanied by seven floats and 580 participants, they will walk through the main streets of the center to the Paseo de Vara de Rey, where they will deliver the magic keys of the city.
In Santa Eulària, the procession will arrive at 18:30 hours at the pontoon of the Municipal Sailing School and parade through the streets to the Town Hall. On Monday 6, they will continue in Puig d’en Valls at 10:30 am and end in Jesus at 13:00 pm, delivering gifts at each stop. Meanwhile, in Sant Antoni, the parade will start at 18:30 hours from Doctor Fleming Avenue and will end at the Mercat de Nadal with the delivery of the keys. On Monday, the celebration will continue at Can Bonet at 11:00 am.
In Sant Josep, the parade will start at 17:00 hours from Cala de Bou, passing through Sant Josep, Sant Agustí and ending in Sant Jordi at 20:00 hours. On Monday, the Kings will visit Es Cubells at 18:00 hours. Finally, in Sant Joan, Their Majesties will be on Sunday in Sant Miquel at 18:30 hours, and then tour Sant Joan and Sant Llorenç on Monday afternoon.
In Formentera: a unique parade
At Formentera, the Three Wise Men will begin their journey on Sunday at 16:30 hours from the Far de la Mola, moving towards Sant Ferran, la Savina and concluding in Sant Francesc at 20:00 hours. The parade will be accompanied by entertainment shows and has been designed with sustainable and inclusive criteria, ensuring the participation of all people.
