A 28-year-old Spanish woman was seriously injured on Friday after a motorcycle accident on the road between Sant Miquel and Santa Gertrudis, in the municipality of Santa Eulària. The accident occurred at mid-morning and forced the intervention of the emergency services of SAMU 061.
The alert was received at 11.52 hours after the motorcyclist fell. A Basic Life Support ambulance was the first to arrive at the scene of the accident, where medical assistance began. Subsequently, an Advanced Life Support unit was activated, which stabilized the injured woman before transferring her to Can Misses Hospital with the severe polytrauma code activated.
The woman was admitted to the Hospital Can Misses at 13.30 hours with a diagnosis of polytrauma. According to the information provided, she was transferred to the Traumatology Hospitalization Unit to continue with specialized medical care. Hours later, she was admitted to the ICU, in critical condition.
