A vehicle spontaneously burned early Monday morning in Cala Martina Avenue, in the town of es Canar, with no injuries or material damage.
The incident occurred at 7:07 am, when a Peugeot 206, which was parked on the public road, began to burn for reasons that, for the moment, are unknown.
According to sources from the Fire Department, the rapid intervention prevented the fire from spreading, and at no time was the adjoining forest mass affected, a particularly relevant circumstance given the proximity of the green area to the site of the incident.
A Fire Department vehicle was sent to the scene, as well as members of the Local Police of the Santa Eulària Town Council, who collaborated in the security and control of the area.
