Adrián Rodríguez, known for his roles in Los Serrano and Física o Química, has publicly announced that he is returning to a rehabilitation center after suffering a new relapse. The 36-year-old actor has acknowledged that he is going through a particularly delicate moment and that he needs to resume treatment to deal with his addiction problems, a struggle he has been fighting for more than a decade.
The news comes after he himself shared a message on his social networks in which he admits that, despite having tried to resume projects and take steps forward, his situation has not improved. In his statement, he explains that he will remain incommunicado during the process and apologizes to those who have been affected by this period of instability.

In his publication, the actor confessed that during the last few months he thought he was recovering, but finally assumed that this perception “was part of the disease”. He also pointed out that he cannot set a date for his return and that he prioritizes his health above any professional activity.
Rodriguez took advantage of the statement to thank for the support received and to apologize for the consequences of his addiction, mentioning debts and other inconveniences that he had generated in his environment. “There is no see you soon,” he wrote, stressing that he will only resume his public life when he is strong and stable.
A decade of struggle and a father overwhelmed by the situation
The relapse has once again placed the family in a very difficult situation. According to his father, Antonio Rodríguez, his son has been in and out of different rehabilitation centers for more than ten years without achieving a sustained recovery. In declarations to Y ahora Sonsoles (Antena 3), the father acknowledged that in the last few months they have hardly had any contact and that it was Adrián himself who recently wrote to him to tell him that he needed urgent help.
Antonio said that his presence in his son’s life has been intermitted because, at times, the dynamics of the addiction also dragged him down emotionally. Even so, he assures that he is now trying to resume that support, although he fears he cannot afford the high costs of treatment, which can exceed 3,000 euros per month and even reach 5,000 euros.
A decline marked by early fame
The performer’s father recalls that such early popularity contributed to Adrian’s involvement in an environment that was difficult for a teenager to manage.
Since her leap to fame with Los Serrano at age 11, her professional and personal life has gone through very complex stages, especially after her exit from Supervivientes in 2018 due to anxiety problems.
According to his father, that episode was a turning point from which the actor never fully recovered. Since then, his career has come to a halt and the family has lived between attempts at rehabilitation, estrangements and reunions marked by concern.
