After a Saturday marked by intermittent rains, the weather improves this Sunday in Ibiza and Formentera, where the Aemet forecasts a day of clear skies and more pleasant temperatures. The feeling will be more temperate, with a bright atmosphere and no active weather alerts.
Emergencies deactivate alerts in the Pitiusas Islands
The Emergency Service 112 of the Balearic Islands has confirmed the deactivation of all alerts in Ibiza and Formentera, while the Severity Index 0 (IG-0) is maintained in Mallorca, for rain and coastal phenomena, and in Menorca, for wind and waves.
The Emergency Department reminds citizens of the importance of maintaining caution and following official recommendations in case weather conditions change.
Stable Sunday with rising temperatures
In the Pitiusas only some isolated showers are expected in the early morning, but the rest of the day will pass with clear skies and light to moderate wind from the north, which in the afternoon will turn to the west. Daytime temperatures will rise slightly, offering a more pleasant atmosphere after Saturday’s instability.
On the other hand, Mallorca and Menorca will still record cloudy intervals and some scattered showers, which will subside with the passing of the hours. In Menorca and the northeast of Mallorca there could be gusts of wind up to 70 km / h during the early morning, before the situation stabilizes.
Thus, after a gray beginning of the weekend, Ibiza and Formentera recover the meteorological calm, with a sunny and peaceful Sunday, typical of the Mediterranean autumn.
