Netflix has announced the release of Avicii – I’m Tim, a documentary that delves into the life and legacy of Tim Bergling, the DJ and music producer known as Avicii. The film presents a look into his life, with never-before-seen footage and interviews, with Tim himself as the narrator. The production synopsis reads, “This is the unlikely story of Tim Bergling, a shy and insecure kid who inadvertently suddenly created one of the world’s most beloved artists – Avicii. Through unique home footage and a huge private archive, we can follow Tim on a winding journey through life, from the first breath in the maternity ward in Stockholm in 1989 to the tragic end in Oman in 2018. This is a film in which Tim himself is the narrator and shares his inner self in a way we have not heard before. Aivicii’s last show at Ushuaïa Ibiza
In addition to the documentary, which will be released on December 31 this year, the streaming company revealed that there will also be more content related to the famous DJ. “Netflix will also premiere Avicii’s last show from Ushuaïa Ibiza, offering fans the opportunity to relive his last performance,” they indicated from the platform. The show was on August 28, 2016 at the iconic club on the island. After it, Bergling announced that he would take a break and spoke about his mental health. He took his own life almost two years later, on April 20, 2018.
