Beso Beach, the Barcelona brand of beach clubs, will open this Saturday its new establishment Beso Beach Baqueira, located at the foot of the slopes in the resort of Baqueira Beret. The project, driven by the founders Rafa Viar and Angie Lopez, opens its doors in the middle of the ski season with the aim of becoming the meeting point for the most exclusive public, and does so after having already recorded a remarkable influx in its first days of informal operation.
According to Viar, co-founder of the brand and of the Bilbao Berria group, the establishment has managed to fill its capacity without the need for advertising campaigns, based solely on the brand’s prestige and the appeal effect among the station’s regular clientele, according to Crónica Global. The official inauguration will take place with the event El Primer Beso, which will be held this Saturday and will mark the beginning of the social and musical programming of the space.

The project has required an investment of three million euros and will employ 45 workers. This is the seventh Beso Beach location -after Formentera, Ibiza, Mallorca, Sitges, Barcelona and Estepona-, and consolidates the expansion of the group, which plans to expand its international presence in 2026 with four new openings outside Spain.

In the gastronomic section, Beso Baqueira offers a proposal that fuses the Basco-Mediterranean essence of the brand with Aranese and French influences adapted to the mountain environment. The menu includes spoon dishes and comforting recipes, such as mellow mountain rice with rabbit and snails, along with the brand’s classics, including grilled turbot and lobster rice. In addition, the space incorporates a pop-up Café de Finca for early breakfasts.

The intention of those responsible for the project goes beyond catering: Beso Baqueira aims to function as “a community”, a space of belonging that transfers to the Pyrenees the social energy, music and aesthetics that have characterized the brand’s Mediterranean establishments. The establishment, built with natural woods and neutral tones, is designed to serve as a refuge and meeting point for après-ski.
