The jury trial being held at the Provincial Court of Palma for the deadly fire that occurred in ses Païsses (Ibiza) in August 2023 has revealed this Friday new details about the death of the 77-year-old man who lost his life in the incident, allegedly provoked by his son’s partner. A jury trial for murder and arson
The Jury Court has been trying the defendant since Monday for one count of murder and one count of arson, since two elderly people she cared for were sleeping in the house. The prosecution maintains that the fire was intentionally set by the woman, whose criminal responsibility will be assessed by the popular jury in the coming days, before the court passes sentence.
