In a solidarity initiative from Ibiza, Vibra Hotels has sent this Wednesday a shipment of 3,485 kilos of bed linen for the citizens affected by the DANA in Valencia. The aid was managed from the laundry department of the Vibra Algarb hotel, headed by Paula Linero Cruz and Miguel Torres, who coordinated the shipment of 13 cages of bed linen with the collaboration of other employees of the hotel chain.
Solidarity from Ibiza to Valencia
Vibra Hotels, one of Ibiza’s leading hotel chains, has stood out for its willingness to collaborate with those affected in Valencia. Antonio Domenech, general manager of Vibra Hotels, valued the team’s immediate response, stressing that “many of the company’s workers are Valencian and some of them have been directly impacted by this terrible situation”. The company has 33 hotels and apartments, of which 31 are located in Ibiza, while the rest are in Mallorca and Menorca, and has activated this aid campaign following the devastation of the DANA.
Collection and donation campaign for those most affected by the disaster
In addition to sending bed linen, the purchasing department of Vibra Hotels has initiated a campaign among employees to collect children’s and adults’ clothing and raise financial contributions.
Noelia García, promoter of this initiative and part of the financial team, will personally take the donations to Valencia this Friday, where they will be distributed among families with children and young people in their care, providing additional support to those who need it most. This collaboration of Vibra Hotels joins the efforts of various institutions and companies that, from the Balearic Islands, have responded to help families affected by the storm, consolidating the island’s commitment to humanitarian support.
