Thousands of people and organizations have mobilized to help those affected by the terrible DANA that hit the Valencian Community. So has the entertainment industry, celebrities like Rosalía and representatives of electronic music: clubs and DJs. From the first moment, to cite one case, locals like Oven werededicated to be a collection center for different necessary items, such as clothing, food and hygiene items. Others like Gordo launched a various artist benefit to raise funds. On the other hand, a DJ organized the campaign Més que musica, to receive economic donations through the gofundme.com platform. Juanjo García Ortega, DJ from Dianna, promoter of the campaign, said: “Since I saw the first images of everything that was happening in my land I went into a state of shock. Like many of you I was collaborating from the first moment (…) I realized that music can be something more than music. I have created a compilation of 400 songs together with the biggest record labels in the country as a thank you to all of you who contribute your grain of sand in this cause”. With this, to date he has already raised 13,719 euros through 783 donations starting from a minimum of 10 euros to access the compilation.
