The process to integrate the 311 IB3 workers into the Balearic Civil Service is about to be completed. In the next few days, the Government will send the letters confirming their incorporation as civil servants without the need for a competitive examination or interviews, a decisive step that puts an end to almost two decades of labor conflict in the Balearic Islands’ public broadcaster.
The agreement was closed this Tuesday in a meeting of several hours between the Govern, the direction of the Public Entity and the Works Committee of IB3, where the final text that frames the employees within the administrative structure of the Executive presided by Marga Prohens was validated , according to the information was advanced by OK Baleares. With this, the threat of a new strike in the entity, which in the last years has registered multiple protests, escraches and calls for stoppage, is also removed.
