Ibiza Airport closed last October with 833,101 passengers, a significant figure which, nevertheless, represents a decrease of 1.8% compared to the same month in 2024.
Of the more than 800,000 travelers, a total of 831,010 were commercial travelers. The distribution shows that 303,871 traveled on domestic routes, down 1.4% from October 2024. On the other hand, international flights recorded 527,139 passengers, marking a slightly higher decrease of 2.3%.
In terms of the origin of international travelers, the United Kingdom stood out as the market with the highest volume, with 189,454 passengers. It was followed by Germany, with 90,053 passengers, and Italy, with 69,131.
In contrast to passenger traffic, the airport’s operational activity experienced growth. During October, 7,843 flights were handled, an increase of 3.5% over the same month of the previous year.
Cumulative data from January to October
Despite the slight year-on-year decrease in October, the accumulated balance for the year is positive. Between January and October 2025, the Ibizan infrastructure has recorded 8,642,213 passengers, a figure 0.7% higher than that recorded in the same period of 2024.
The number of aircraft operations has also increased in the year-to-date, amounting to 79,239 takeoffs and/or landings. This represents a 2.5% growth in operations.
The Aena Group is also growing
Ibiza’s figures are part of the dynamics of the Aena Group, a group comprising 46 airports and two heliports in Spain, as well as London-Luton Airport and 17 airports in Brazil.
The Aena Group closed October 2025 with a total of 35,099,396 passengers, 4.5% more than in October 2024. In addition, it handled 295,929 aircraft movements, 4.3% more than the previous year, and transported 150,175 tons of cargo, registering an increase of 9.3% over last year.
