The Ibiza Town Hall has announced that this October 28th will begin the resurfacing works in José Zornoza Bernabeu street, within a broader plan of road improvement that has been carried out since the beginning of October. These actions seek to ensure a smoother and safer circulation in the main roads of the municipality. Blanca Hernández, third deputy mayor and councilor for Public Works and Mobility, pointed out that these works were “long overdue” and stressed the importance of keeping the pavement in good condition to protect both drivers and pedestrians. “Now our lanes are safer, and the works are progressing as planned,” commented Hernández, noting that some of the scheduled actions have already been completed.
Upcoming interventions
In addition to the resurfacing in José Zornoza Bernabeu, the campaign includes works in other streets and avenues of the municipality, such as Vuit d’Agost avenue, Sant Joan de Labritja avenue, Mayor Bartomeu Rosselló Sala street, Formentera street and d’Es Jondal street. The City Council has apologized for the inconvenience that these interventions may generate and has assured that the works will be organized so that the duration is as short as possible, seeking to affect as little as possible the routine of the residents.
