The Christmas in Ibiza officially began this Saturday with a spectacular opening at the Portal de ses Taules. The event, which marked the switching on of the Christmas lights, featured an impressive videomapping that filled with color and magic one of the most emblematic corners of the city. The projection, which took place in three passes at 18.00, 18.45 and 19.30, transformed the historic entrance into a dynamic canvas, accompanied by performances by dancers and singers that added even more excitement to the evening.
Novelties that bring excitement
Among the surprises announced by the City Council of Ibiza for this holiday season is the double Santa Claus parade, which will travel the streets of the port to the promenade of Vara de Rey on 23 and 24 December at 11.00 am.
For their part, the Three Kings will recover a special tradition in their parade on January 5, with the adoration of the baby Jesus in the church of Roser, a stop that promises to thrill young and old. The City Council has described this Christmas kick-off as a resounding success: “Ibiza, city of Christmas, already shining brightly!” they stated on their social networks. They also invited residents and visitors to enjoy a month full of activities designed to share unforgettable moments with friends and family.
A December full of festive spirit
The Christmas program in Ibiza promises to be diverse and exciting, with options for all ages and tastes. From Christmas markets to concerts and workshops, the streets of the city will be filled with music, lights and the warmth that characterizes these dates.
