“In the coming days we will inform you of the new schedule and alternatives based on the evolution of weather forecasts,” the official message states.
To questions from La Voz de Ibiza, from the City Council confirm that the parade is currently on standby, waiting for how the weather forecasts evolve in the coming hours. That is, it is not canceled but not confirmed.
Rain and instability according to AEMET
The uncertainty is directly related to the AEMET forecast for Monday in Ibiza, which points to a high probability of precipitation, mostly overcast skies and an unstable environment for much of the day.
According to the official forecast, rain is expected at different times of the day, with maximum temperatures around 12 degrees and minimum temperatures close to 8 degrees, a scenario that is not very favorable for a large outdoor event such as the parade.
