On Sunday, the SD Ibiza SD Ibiza drew 3-3 against UD Alzira at home in the framework of the 23rd date of the Second RFEF.
The Ibizans came to this game with many needs, as they did not want to fall back into relegation positions. In addition, they were facing a team that was fighting for the same.
First half of goals
What was not lacking in this match were emotions, 13 minutes into the first half, SD Ibiza could have gone ahead on the scoreboard by the hand of Villar.
However, this did not intimidate their opponents, but rather boosted them, as six minutes later, Joan Piera scored the 1 to 1, to wipe the smile off the Ibizans’ faces.
From this point on, the match became very even, with both teams trying to score again.
It was Javi Jiménez who did just that, scoring before the end of the first half to give the visitors a 2-1 lead at the break.
Second half of emotions
SD Ibiza came out for the second half ready to turn the result around, something that was quickly achieved, as in the 48th minute Jiménez scored for the red and white team.
A minute later, Marcos sent the ball into the back of the net to put the Ibizans ahead on the scoreboard.
After this goal, the Ibizans tried to defend the result and even had some chances to increase their lead, but everything changed in the last minute.
When people were getting ready to go home happy for the victory, Joan Piera appeared to put the definitive 3 to 3 and ruin the victory for the Ibizan team.
Next match and classification
With this draw, the Ibizan team moves up to 12th place in the standings and will visit Elche Ilicitano on the next matchday.
