The calendar of public holidays for 2025, designed according to the provisions of the state and regional regulations in force, consists of 12 days. In this sense, the general director of Employment and Occupational Health, Catalina Cabrer, explained that: “Because of how the days will fall in 2025, the Tripartite Committee has chosen to maintain January 6, Epiphany of the Lord; March 1, Day of the Balearic Islands; April 17, Holy Thursday; and December 26, the second Christmas holiday, as traditional holidays of the Balearic Islands. It has been chosen to maintain the second Christmas holiday in substitution of October 12, which falls on a Sunday.
