The Local Police of Santa Eulària arrested on Saturday, November 16 a man identified as Z.D., suspected of a possible robbery in a local the night before. During the intervention, authorities also confirmed that the detainee has an expulsion order from the country in force.
Riots and arrest
The operation began around 12:25 hours, when several warnings were received alerting of the presence of a disturbed individual in the streets of Santa Eulària. According to witnesses, the suspect was in the area of the bus stop at Camí de Missa, where he was shouting and making threatening gestures with a wrench. Shortly thereafter, another tip placed the same subject on Séquia des Mallorquí street, where he had allegedly caused damage to parked vehicles. The agents, in collaboration with the Guardia Civil, located the individual in the street Ramon Muntaner number 1, in the neighborhood of sa Rota d’en Pere Cardona.
Identity verification and arrest
After a cursory search that revealed no dangerous elements, the Guardia Civil confirmed that the suspect was being investigated for a recent robbery. Subsequently, the National Police verified his identity and confirmed that Z.D. had a deportation order in force. The detainee was transferred to police headquarters, where the corresponding investigation will be carried out to determine his involvement in the events.
