The City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany is implementing a project of improvement and maintenance in 15 rural roads in the municipality to reinforce the safety and good condition of these roads, “essential for mobility in the rural environment”, as highlighted in the municipal press release.
The action has a grant of 104,366.14 euros from the Consell Insular de Ibiza and the project award amounts to 138,075.62 euros.

The councilman of Primary Sector, Miguel Angel Costa, points out that the deterioration of these roads is due to the passage of time, intensive use and weather phenomena, and stresses that their maintenance is “essential” to ensure the transit of neighbors, farmers and visitors.
The 15 roads included in the improvements
The conditioned roads include the following:
- Camí de Benimussa
- Road between Sant Rafel and Santa Gertrudis
- Camí des Torrent d’en Xanxó
- Camí de sa Talaia (Can Pujolet area)
- Camí des Puig (Can Bonet)
- Road to sa Granja des Fornàs
- Camí des Puig des Planells
- Camí Vell de Sant Rafel
- Road from Cas Serres to Can Bonet
- Camí des Llobets
- Camí de Can Puig (racetrack)
- Camí de sa Mateta (between Santa Agnès and Sant Mateu)
- Camí de Can Trull
- Camí de Can Prats (Camí Vell de Sant Mateu)
- Camí de Can Raconada to Can Simón
