The City Council of Sant Antoni de Portmany will launch the SOIB Impulsa’T 2025-2026 program, an initiative promoted by the Servei d’Ocupació de les Illes Balears (SOIB) and co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+), with the aim of promoting employment and improving the employability of unemployed people in the municipality.
Through this call, the City Council will hire a total of 10 unemployed people through two different lines of the program. On the one hand, Line 1: Impulsa’T < 30, aimed at young unemployed people, will offer five jobs. On the other hand, Line 2: Impulsa’T > 30, aimed at unemployed people aged 30 or over, preferably in a situation of long-term unemployment, will also have five vacancies.
In the case of Line 1, aimed at young people between 16 and 29 years of age, three cleaning operator positions and two maintenance worker positions are available. For Line 2, there are one maintenance officer position, three maintenance laborer positions and one cleaning operator position.
The contracts will be temporary, full-time and with a duration of 273 calendar days, with the objective of enabling participants to acquire professional experience, maintain and improve their labor competencies and advance towards a continuous and quality labor insertion.
The job offers are published from December 19, 2025 and interested persons must register through the SOIB website. To qualify for Line 1, it is necessary to be a beneficiary of the Youth Guarantee system, have at most compulsory basic education and be registered as a job seeker in the SOIB at the time of recruitment. In the case of Line 2, the requirements include being 30 years old or older and registered as a job seeker in the SOIB, with preference for people in a situation of long-term unemployment.
The Department of Employment Promotion and Local Development of the City Council of Sant Antoni will provide information and support to those interested in making the inscriptions.
