The Second Section of the Provincial Court holds this Wednesday (09.45 hours) the preliminary hearing of the trial against a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman in a nightclub in Ibiza.
The prosecution requests for the defendant a sentence of two years imprisonment, a prohibition to approach the victim within 500 meters and to communicate with her for two years.
The events occurred in September 2023 when, according to the indictment, the defendant approached the victim from behind and sexually assaulted her.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office in the indictment, the subject “with the intention of satisfying his libidinous desires, approached her from behind andinserted his fingers into her vagina without any consent“.
The defendant has deposited 15,000 euros in court to compensate the victim.
