The City Council of Sant Antoni has started new contracts for seven people at risk of social exclusion. These are jobs created by the Department of Social Welfare, through a joint work with three civil associations: Fundació Deixalles, the Association of Parents of Children and Adolescents with Disabilities of Ibiza and Formentera (Aspanadif) and the special employment center Apfem Aktúa, for people with intellectual disabilities. The initiative, which seeks to give opportunities to groups that face more barriers to access the labor market, involves an investment of 54,154.38 euros, as reported by the Consistory. Social Welfare has the collaboration of the Department of Environment that has created the proposal of jobs adapted to the conditions of users helping to perform necessary work for the municipality. The associations will carry out three campaigns during the next two months: cleaning of the coastline, animal welfare and local produce.
Environment and society

In addition, in 2023 the foundation assisted 294 people through its various social programs. In Ibiza there are an estimated one hundred people at risk of social exclusion.
