The Consell Insular de Formentera and the SOIB will promote free courses on the island for unemployed people. As reported by the island institution in a statement, through the Department of Local Development and Formentera Impulsa will start a calendar of free courses subsidized by the SOIB to complement the training of unemployed people and give impetus to the careers of all those who are in the process of finding or improving their job. This initiative is part of the objectives of the Orientation, Training and Entrepreneurship Service of the Consell and has the participation of the Employment Service of the Balearic Islands (SOIB) and the co-financing of the State Public Employment Service (SEPE). The different training actions offered will start next November with a 90-hour English for Commerce course, which will be held in the training room of the Casal de Entidades, in Sant Francesc. Later, at the beginning of the new year, will begin other courses that will offer interested parties content such as a summary of basic digital skills, concepts of circular economy, strategies for the promotion and promotion of work, occupation techniques and job placement, or awareness of environmental issues and gender equality.
