Ibiza faces the beginning of the week with a changing weather, marked by the presence of clouds, intermittent light rainfall and mild temperatures, according to the weather forecast for the capital, Eivissa, located at 81 meters above sea level. The island is within the warning zone of Ibiza and Formentera, although for the moment there are no alerts activated.
This Tuesday 30, the day began with cloudy skies and light rain during the morning, with temperatures around 14 degrees, to give way to an afternoon with little cloud and a night with clear skies, in which the thermometer will drop to 11 degrees.
More clouds and chance of rain from Thursday onwards
Wednesday 31 will have cloudy intervals, without significant precipitation, and temperatures ranging between 8 and 15 degrees, maintaining a similar thermal sensation. Relative humidity will remain high, with values that could reach 100%.
From Thursday, January 1, the sky will tend to become progressively overcast, with an increase in cloudiness and a 30% probability of rain, which will increase notably on Friday, January 2, when forecasts point to a 55% probability of precipitation, which could be persistent although of a weak nature.
Saturday 3 will foreseeably be the most unstable day of the period, with very cloudy or overcast skies, rainfall more likely -up to 90%-and a humid atmosphere. Maximum temperatures will reach 17 degrees, while minimum temperatures will be around 8 degrees.
East wind and strong gusts
As for the wind, north and east components will predominate throughout the week, with moderate speeds of between 10 and 15 km/h. However, on Saturday, maximum gusts of up to 55 km/h are expected, especially in exposed areas, which could increase the feeling of coolness.
The snow level will be between 1,100 and 1,300 meters at the provincial level during the most unstable days, without directly affecting Ibiza but reflecting the entry of a colder air mass.
Mild temperatures and low UV index
Temperatures will remain stable and typical for this time of the year, with minimum temperatures between 7 and 9 degrees and maximum temperatures that will not exceed 17 degrees. The ultraviolet index will be low throughout the week, with maximum values of 1, typical of winter.
