The Second Section of the Provincial Court of the Balearic Islands celebrates this Thursday, at 10.00 a.m., the trial against three accused of introducing cocaine in Ibiza, where they arrived on a flight from Lisbon. The Prosecutor’s Office is asking for 17 years in prison and fines of nearly 500,000 euros. According to the indictment, the facts date back to August 7, 2022, when the defendants were at Ibiza airport and the agents stopped them. The three of them were carrying numerous quantities of cocaine, whose final price on the illicit market would exceed 127,000 euros. For these facts, the Prosecutor’s Office is asking for sentences totaling 17 years in prison and fines amounting to 482,000 euros for the defendants.
