The Ibiza Town Hall has announced traffic restrictions this Monday due to the execution of the final resurfacing works in Sant Jordi Avenue. These works are part of the road improvement plan that seeks to optimize the state of the road and ensure greater safety for drivers and pedestrians.
Traffic cuts and possible detours
During the day on Monday, finishing work will be carried out on the sidewalks and road signs, which will involve temporary cuts in different sections of the avenue. Local authorities have warned that these restrictions could cause traffic delays and detours, so drivers are advised to use alternative routes to avoid possible delays.
Duration of work and recommendations
The City Council has not specified an exact time for the completion of the work, although it is expected that the restrictions will remain in place throughout the day. In the event that weather conditions or unforeseen events delay the work, the closure could be extended. For this reason, the Consistory has requested patience and cooperation from citizens, recalling that these improvements are necessary to ensure safer and smoother traffic in the area. They have also urged drivers to plan their journeys in advance and to follow the indications of the temporary signage that will be installed in the affected area.
