The Ibiza-Sant Josep road was stained with mourning and blood on Friday afternoon. A tragic accident resulted in the death of a woman and two other people injured. The two women were on a motorcycle that crashed head-on into a Cupra Leon. Due to the virulence of the impact, the co-pilot of the motorcycle was ejected at a distance of 14 meters from the place of the accident. According to Emergency 061, the fatal victim was transferred by an ambulance, but went into cardiorespiratory arrest and died while unsuccessful resuscitation maneuvers were performed. The driver of the motorcycle was evacuated to Can Misses Hospital by the emergency services with polytraumatisms. The driver of the car was not physically injured, although he had to be treated for an anxiety crisis. The incident occurred at the Cas Costas restaurant, where earlier this summer a tourist was run over by a truck and miraculously saved his life. Traffic on the road was affected from 18 hours until 22.30 hours, when the teams of Grúas Ibiza managed to clear the road and the services of Xarxa Viaria del Consell de Ibiza, to clean the road, as the impact between the two vehicles left numerous debris scattered on the road.
