Two men accused of cultivating and selling marijuana in Ibiza go on trial

The prosecution is asking for the defendants, both Italians, to serve eight years in prison for events dating back to 2021.

The First Section of the Provincial Court celebrates this Thursday, at 09.45 am, the trial against two men accused of growing and selling marijuana in Ibiza.

The prosecution is asking the defendants to serve eight years in prison for acts that date back to 2021 when, according to the indictment, the two defendants, both Italians, cultivated marijuana and then sold it to third parties.

The document states that in a search of the house where the defendants resided, several quantities of cannabis, cannabis resin and ketamine were found , as well as cash, light bulbs, ventilation systems and fertilizers.

The Public Prosecutor’s Office considers the facts to constitute a crime against public health and asks for four years in prison and a fine of 60,000 euros for each of the accused.
