The Local Police of Ibiza has shared on its social networks a curious but worrying anecdote that occurred in recent days, a female motorcycle driver was arrested after being seen riding with her helmet on backwards.
“When haste plays a trick on you,” begins the publication of the police force, which recognizes that the scene brought a smile to their faces, but also served as a reminder of an essential message: the helmet is not an accessory, but a vital element of safety that must always be properly fitted and fastened.
From the Local Police insist that attention at the wheel -or at the handlebars, in this case- is essential to avoid accidents. “Attention while driving saves lives, distractions do not,” concludes the message, accompanied by the hashtags #SeguridadVial, #ConduceConCabeza and #Eivissa.
