The woman assaulted with a knife by his ex-partner this Sunday has been discharged from the ICU and has gone to the ward due to her good evolution, as confirmed this Tuesday by the Health Area of the Pitiusas. The patient was taken to the Hospital by SAMU 061 last Sunday after suffering stab wounds, most of them superficial. According to the National Police, on Sunday around 20.20 hours a patrol attended the woman after suffering several stab wounds. The officers helped the victim who had wounds in the chest, neck and hand, reporting the same that her ex-partner had stabbed her several times with a knife and that she had fled the scene after the aggression. Several patrols went to the family home, where they found the door closed and heard the crying of a minor inside, so they got him to open the door. The police officers took charge of the child and entered the house.
Once inside they found that the alleged perpetrator of the stab wounds had taken his own life.
The UFAM of the National Police took over the investigation, verifying that there were no previous complaints of abuse and that the woman had separated from her partner a month earlier.
