Dinner for One, theatrical comedy with Penya Escènica

The Teatro España of Santa Eulalia hosts the representation of the classic comedy “Dinner for One”, by the company Penya Escènica, a proposal full of humor ideal to enjoy in the middle of the Christmas season.

The play stars Fernando Cardona as the eccentric Miss Sophie and Julian Watson Todd as James, her faithful and clumsy butler, under the direction of Carolina Cardona. It is a comedy written by British author Lauri Wylie in the 1920s, which narrates the peculiar 90th birthday of Miss Sophie, celebrated with a dinner in which the guests only exist in her imagination, forcing the butler to play all the roles, giving rise to hilarious situations.

“Dinner for One” is an internationally popular play and a true Christmas tradition in countries such as Germany. At the end of the performance, the audience will be able to enjoy a Christmas snack at the back of the theater, with bell pepper coca, cava and juice.

Tickets are priced at 9 euros and can be purchased at Holidays (Santa Eulalia) and Holy-Sports (Ibiza town). A perfect date to laugh and share a night of theater close and endearing.
