XVIII Cycle of Afternoon Concerts at l’Orgue de Sant Josep

The Cicle de Concerts de Tardor a l’Orgue celebrates its eighteenth edition, consolidating itself as one of the most outstanding musical events of the Pitiusas. The series opens on Sunday, November 16 with a recital by Sevillian organist Jesús Ciero Polvillo, accompanied by the Petit Cor de Eivissa, under the title “Tradition and modernity in contemporary music from Seville”.
The second event will be on Saturday, November 29, with a performance by Nofre Morey Munar, professor at the Conservatory of Palma, who will offer a repertoire of German classical music.
The organ of Sant Josep, built in the workshops of Pere Reynés Florit in Campanet (Mallorca), stands out for its baroque style of Catalan tradition, with 20 sound registers and 1,500 pipes.
The cycle is organized by the Cor de Sant Josep with the sponsorship of the City Council of Sant Josep de sa Talaia and the Association of Neighbors of Sa Raval.
