he group Gent per Formentera has issued an ultimatum to the government of Sa Unió: there will be no support for the 2026 budget if ten specific demands are not included. These are six commitments signed in 2025 and not executed, and four new investments approved this year by the Plenary.
“They have breached all last year’s agreements,” denounce from GxF, which two months ago expects to negotiate accounts for 2026 whose draft does not include any of the agreed items.
“It is yet another sign of improvisation and lack of management by a minority government that does not even have the necessary votes to approve its own accounts,” they claim.
The 6 signed and pending 2025 agreements
According to GxF, Sa Unió has not implemented any of the following measures committed to by 2025:

Reactivate the Housing Office, which has been paralyzed for months.

Create specific aid for businesses open all year round, a key sector in the low season.

Finalize the public transportation concession process, which is still pending.

Implement new green routes to promote sustainable mobility.

Improve citizen service through the OVAC (Virtual Citizen Service Office).

All these measures were included in the pact to approve the 2025 budgets, and GxF is now demanding that they be incorporated into the 2026 draft with specific line items.
The 4 new investments claimed by GxF

Budgets without direction
GxF has strongly criticized the way in which the budget has been processed. According to denounce, the executive of Sa Unió again made mistakes in the presentation of the accounts in informative commissions and did so without having secured sufficient support for its approval.
